In marked contrast to Jeffrey Hart’s opinions (printed herein), the Wall Street Journal‘s Darren Everson is far from enraptured with Ivy League athletics, at least not as they currently stand. His column¬†questions traditional Ancient Eight wisdom, from limited post-seasons to the academic standards by which athletes are admitted, and presents an interesting history of the League’s rise and, perhaps, fall.
